The Gap

Certs Teach
Exercises.

Most certifications hand you a list of exercises. They don't teach you how to assess an athlete, design the program, coach the technique, and manage the whole human — nutrition, sleep, and lifestyle included. That's the gap FPC Coach Education fills.

The FPC System

Every pathway runs the same five-step loop: Assess · Build · Perform · Adapt · Repeat. The methodology stays constant — only the application changes for return to sport.

What We Cover

Inside the Mentorship.

Be honest — how many of these could you confidently coach right now? This is one-on-one mentorship, not a course you watch alone. Here's what we go deep on together — in-person and remote — with Coach Cody guiding you as you apply it to your own athletes.

Energy System Development

Conditioning is more than running athletes until they're tired. You'll learn to test an athlete's work capacity, identify which energy system their sport actually demands, and build conditioning that leaves them faster and fresher when it counts — not just gassed.

Program Design

This is where assessment turns into a plan. You'll learn to read an athlete's data, set the right priorities, and structure a periodized program that truly progresses — individualized to their sport, position, and training age instead of a template everyone gets.

Exercise Selection

Every exercise should have a reason. You'll learn to choose movements with intent, regress or progress them for any athlete on the spot, coach the technique that transfers, and load by bar speed — so your programs look deliberate, not random.

Shoulder, Low Back & Knee Pain

The three complaints you'll hear most. You'll learn to screen the shoulder, low back, and knee, find the real "why" behind the pain instead of chasing symptoms, keep athletes training safely around it, and recognize when it's time to refer out.

Return to Sport

Doctor-cleared doesn't mean game-ready. You'll learn to bridge the gap rehab leaves behind — reloading tissue, rebuilding capacity, testing readiness with real benchmarks, and reintroducing speed, cutting, and contact so athletes come back confident, not cautious.

Nutrition

Fueling athletes will actually follow. You'll learn to build simple, sustainable habits around performance and recovery, handle game-day and travel, and cut through the hype on hydration and supplements — without needing to become a dietitian.
