Return to Performance

Cleared
Doesn't Mean
Ready.

Your athlete finished rehab. They've been cleared to train. But are they ready to perform?

Return to Performance bridges the gap between rehabilitation and full performance — rebuilding the strength, power, capacity and confidence your athlete needs to get back to their sport.

The Gap

Cleared. But Are They Ready?

Getting cleared by a doctor or physical therapist is an important milestone.

It isn't the finish line.

Where FPC Fits

We Bridge The Gap.

Your athlete doesn't compete in a physical therapy clinic. They compete on the ice, field, court, track or in the gym.

Who This Is For

When Your Athlete
Isn't Quite There Yet.

01

Just Cleared

They're allowed to train again, but they aren't themselves yet.

02

Finishing PT

Rehabilitation is ending. Now what?

03

Doesn't Trust Their Body

Physical ability may have returned. Confidence hasn't.

04

Recurrent Injury

They've been through this before. Now it's time to build capacity.

05

The Parent

"Is my kid really ready?"

You want to know that when they return, they're prepared.

Two major groin injuries sidelined Jack from playing. The goal wasn't simply getting him through rehab — it was rebuilding the physical capacity and confidence required to get back on the ice.

Questions

Common Questions

Do I need to finish physical therapy first?
Return to Performance is designed for athletes who have been medically cleared to begin training and are ready to transition from rehabilitation into performance training.
Do you work with my physical therapist?
Yes. FPC does not replace your physician or physical therapist. We focus on the performance side of the comeback and can work alongside the medical team when appropriate.
What injuries do you work with?
We work with athletes returning from a wide range of sports-related injuries and procedures. Every athlete is different, so training is based on their current ability, medical guidance, sport and goals.
How long will it take?
There is no responsible way to give every athlete the same timeline. The injury, athlete, sport and starting point all matter. We use objective information and ongoing coaching to determine when an athlete is ready to progress.
What happens first?
Every Return to Performance athlete begins with a paid Return to Performance Assessment. We'll review your athlete's history, understand where they are now, assess their current physical capabilities and determine what needs to happen next.
